4C:4c is about communicating with the families and making sure to make them feel welcomed and invited in the educational journey. The elements are to inform guardians about the instructional program, give them information on their students, and communicate with them about their student. Make sure to stay in touch in a manner of culturally appropriate information. As a teacher we hope for a two-way communication, but it won't always happen and all that matters is they get the information on their students. Some examples of communication include: blogs, parent letters, emails, handout, phone logs, newsletters, and etc. Make sure to reflect on communication with your students' families/guardians.

4B:4b is about being organized and staying on top of things for your students and your classroom. The overall idea is to stay organized and to keep track of where your students are at in their studies and adapting to help them learn. This includes keeping records on students both in terms of instructional and non-instructional. Also find ways to give students feedback to help them understand what they are missing and try to talk to them to try to figure out why they are missing the key concept and what may help them grasp the concept. As well as letting the students try to play a part in contributing to maintaining their own files and this may help them better understand the concepts as well.
